Why His Dawah Matters So Deeply
Amidst this struggle, one man has quietly dedicated his life to helping them. His name is Dr. Haji Sugimoto.
For the past nine years, he has served as a full-time dāʿī in Japan.
With nothing but sincerity and perseverance, he has become a father to the reverts, a teacher to the seekers and a companion to the lonely.
He has conducted more than 4,500 online classes and public talks in mosques, community centres and universities across Japan.
Through his patient efforts, he has personally witnessed 260 Japanese people embracing Islam by July 2025.
And in 2019, he achieved what many thought impossible, he translated the entire Qur’an into simple Japanese and distributed more than 10,000 copies nationwide.
